Frequently Asked Questions About Sheloya Mystical Love Spells

How much do they cost?

It depends on the situation, but in most cases, they cost around $500.

For a complicated case, it is sometimes $700-900.  If the person has moved on to a new lover, it can be around $900.  If families have to be negotiated with, it can be as much as $1500 then $500 per month to reinforce.  For the latter, I recommend you choose someone local to you if possible, since then you will have fewer worries.

Be advised that a spell isn’t always the answer to love problems.  Some situations can be easily solved with oils, talismans, or other tools that are much less expensive and require less energy.  Obeah spells should be the last resort, when you have tried everything else within reason.

Do you give refunds?

No, I do not.  The price of the spells is not because of me.  All I have, I owe to the Spirits, so I give them the offerings.  Once the money has been spent for offerings and supplies, I can’t get it back, so I can’t give it back to you.

What I will give, if I must, is a re-purchase of offerings, meaning instead of what was given for your offerings crediting you, I will pay you to have them credited to me.  This is not a refund.  This is my paying you back the amount of your offerings plus my time and ceremonial work in order to wash my hands of you.  If you make me do this, do not blame me for whatever happens to you.  My hands are then clean, so go to the Spirits about it yourself.

Because I’m not making a profit on spell and root work, it may take me some time to pay you back, but if you push me there, rest assured that I will.  Every.  Penny.  Once I do then you should not speak to me or of me ever again because then we are even.  Also, I would rather not have my name in the mouth of someone who would renege on an offering to the Spirits.

When you give offerings to the Spirits, they take care of you.  It is a show of respect, and it sets things in motion in the Collective Conscious and Unconscious that bring good things.  If you decide that what the Spirits and Nature bring you isn’t good enough, and renege on your offerings, then both in your psyche and in the external things you affect and are affected by, you close a door between yourself and those kinds of blessings.  I don’t curse you.  I just become indifferent towards you.  You curse yourself when you do that.

What do you do exactly?

I can’t tell you the details of the ceremonies, but I can tell you the basics of what offerings I do for the average love spell.  It is sometimes a bit more complicated, but this is the basics.

The entire ceremony takes about a week to finish, and then whatever tools are needed should be made and consecrated.

1.  Monday: Offerings to Eshu and the Ancestors and divination.  Eshu opens the gate and the Ancestors decide whether or not two people will fall in love, marry, and/or have children together.  These offerings include, but are not limited to chicken, tobacco, coffee, sweets, and alcohol, as well as foods and gifts the Ancestors like. Divination is done to make sure we’re covering all the bases and angles, and because sometimes the Spirits will want different things.  Also time of year and astrological situations will influence the offerings and particulars of the ceremony.

2.  Tuesday-Thursday: Offerings to Oshun since she is the Orisha of love.  She enjoys sweets, fine delicacies, good beers, eggs, lettuce, and fancy food in general.  When possible, I bake a cake with five different kinds of sweetener, and 24 kt. gold in the mix.

3.  Friday: Dancing for Shango and offerings.  He likes hot, spicy food, peppers, and things cooked over fire.

4. Saturday: Spending the day basking in the energy of Oshun, and preparing the tools.

5.  The Monday after the tools are complete: Consecrating the tools with Eshu incense, and casting protections on the packages.

This is what most real spell casters and root workers do for the best love spells.  If they’re doing less than this, it’s probably going to be less effective since the proper respect and offerings need to be given so the Spirits understand we respect them.

Do you have any photos?

Yes I do have many photos on my Facebook page for Sheloya Mystical and on my ObeahWoman.com website.

How long does it take for them to work?

Most of the time, they work within 3 months on women, and 6-7 months for men.  Usually, they come to fruition, or at least something moves in a positive direction right away, but sometimes it takes a bit longer.  If nothing has moved within 3 months for a woman, or within 7 months for a man, I reinforce the working or try a more aggressive method at no extra charge.

What are the chances of success?

If you follow the instructions that I give you, then the chances of success are very high.  Remember that even though the Spirits can influence someone very strongly, they will not change someone’s personality or force them.  However, if you have done what you should, you will get something positive from it.  It’s just how Nature works.  If you have a positive and loving energy, then love will come to you somehow.

What can I do to increase the chances of success?

You must stay positive, trust the Spirits, and try not to talk too much and ruminate about the working.  This creates blockages that should not be there.  Click here for some more advice on increasing the chances of success in your love workings.

I ordered a love spell and received my supplies.  What do I do with the things you sent me?

Can you teach me how to do a love spell for myself?

Yes I can.  For custom video lessons specific to your needs, I charge $150.  You can also visit the Orisha Online Altar and ObeahWoman.com for information about the Orishas and other Spirits that you may want to work with.

More About How Sheloya Does Love Spells

One of my specialties and favorite workings to do is love spells.  The ones I do are to the Obeah standard.  If you have never had any experience working with an Obeah practitioner, you should be advised that we hold to a very high standard.  We have a “whatever works” philosophy, and do not give up until the working comes to fruition or a suitable conclusion is reached.

You should think very carefully before opting for an Obeah love spell because unlike some other paths, we cover as many angles as possible with spiritual, psychological, metaphysical, and the Collective Conscious.  It is hard core, and the level of effectiveness is so high and consistent that some find it frightening.  Very rarely does an Obeah spell not work when it is done correctly and the seeker follows the instructions of the priest/ess.  Most of the time it even works when the seeker makes mistakes.

Obeah has the reputation of being the most powerful system of sorcery known to man.  So as they say, be careful what you ask for.

Seriously, if you have any doubts at all about what you truly want, or you aren’t ready for some possible serious changes and strange occurrences, we have many lower impact and much less expensive charms and talismans you can try.  Once the spell is cast, there is no turning back without the spiritual equivalent of attempting to stop a truck moving at full speed.

Eshu Opens the Gate

EVERY working that involves Orishas or even the assignment of west African Ndoki or syncretized Djinn, Saints, or Nature Spirits that is legitimate begins with asking Eshu/Elegua to open the gate.  There are no exceptions.  After this, offerings to Orunmila and divination is done to determine exactly what should be included in the working.

Your working will usually then include a nkisi (talisman) and other tools to assist the working.  When for love, it will also have a binding scroll or skin seal with sigils, hieroglyphs, or a prayer.  This may be separate from the nkisi or sewn into the nkisi depending on the materials.

From there, offerings are given to other Orishas who may be involved in the working.  The usual include but are not limited to Oshun, Yemaya, and Shango.  Sometimes, when big changes need to be made to the situation, or the person is a very stubborn warrior type, Oya may need to be brought in as well.  It depends on the situation.  In the case of a spouse who has left and you want them to return, Oba would be brought in to convince them to come home.

Oshun Consecration

As we go, the nkisi and whatever other items are needed such as oils, special charms, and the like are assembled and consecrated.  Travel may need to be done to make sure the items receive the best natural energies.

Offerings to Yemaya

Offerings are extremely important to make sure the working will be of maximum effectiveness.  Wishful thinking is very nice, but it is not the same as putting a physical message out into the Universe through conscious actions.  A spell without offerings is like a kiss without lips.

Example of a love nkisi and oil set

In the end, the nkisi and other needed items receive their finishing touches and final consecration before being shipped to you.  The whole initial process usually takes a week to a week and a half, but it’s not over yet.  Every time I do my daily observances, your case is brought before the Orishas until it comes to fruition or a suitable conclusion is reached.

…and that’s the basics of love spells and root work from Sheloya.  Other true Obeah practitioners operate similarly.  Mind you, other TRUE practitioners operate similarly.  Some may do the entire process in their own temple or delegate duties between members of their house, but the same amount of effort goes into it.  So if you see someone advertising a price that wouldn’t even cover the flowers, you can understand they are not doing a full love spell as we know it.  They are saying a prayer, which I do for free.  Vodun is not a rich person’s faith.  If you can’t afford hard core spell work, you can be added to my altar, and when I do my daily observances, your case will be brought before the Orishas.  It’s not as “surgical” as a spell, but it is something real being done on your behalf.

If you are sure that what you need is more than a prayer, but a true to life spell, you should be prepared for the costs.  Your spell will absolutely require offerings to Eshu, Orunmila, and Oshun and supplies to make a proper nkisi.  It may also require offerings to other Orishas, trance work, and travel to locations such as the sea, natural springs, the mountains, and other sacred sites.  Most love spells run between $300 for something very simple and straightforward, to $700 for a somewhat complicated case.  If it has been a long time since a separation, and you need to move their new partner out of the way, it can go up to $1500.

Oshun Fountain

Bathing in fresh water helps you to align with Oshun’s energy.

If you have a spell or working that is currently underway, click here for advice on how to help increase its chances of effectiveness.  There are limits to what a spell can do alone.  You should also do your best to align yourself with Oshun and the other Spirits operating on your behalf so there will be no blockages.

I took all my stuff and moved back to my place. we talked last on 8/26, and I haven’t heard from him since then. help?

is there someone else? or did someone cast a spell on him? he’s totally different.
